Official Rules: 2025 Beyond the Hunt with Rick & Julie™ Veteran Appreciation Hunt Giveaway

  • ALL DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED SOLELY BY BINDING ARBITRATION AND ENTRANTS WAIVE THE ABILITY TO BRING CLAIMS IN A CLASS ACTION FORMAT.

By entering (or otherwise participating in) the Sweepstakes, you agree to these Official Rules, which are a binding contract. Read them carefully before entering. Without limitation, this contract includes indemnities to the Sweepstakes Parties from you and a limitation of your rights and remedies.

1. Eligibility

The 2025 Beyond the Hunt with Rick & Julie™ Veteran Appreciation Hunt Giveaway (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older as of the date of entry.

The nominee (whether you are entering on behalf of yourself or nominating another person) must be a veteran of the United States Armed Services (a “Veteran”).

Employees, officers, and directors of Sandhill Pines, LLC (“Sponsor”), Bobcat Company, Realtime Media LLC (“Administrator”), and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, contest, fulfillment, and marketing agencies (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Parties”), as well as their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible to participate or win.

For this Sweepstakes:

  • “Immediate family members” include spouse, partner, parents, legal guardians, in-laws, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren (and their respective spouses).

  • “Household members” means those who share the same residence for at least three (3) months a year, whether related or not.

Households that enter using more than five (5) unique email addresses may be disqualified.

Void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws apply.

2. Timing

The Sweepstakes begins at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on August 28, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on October 5, 2025 (“Sweepstakes Period”).

The Sponsor’s designated computer clock is the official time-keeping device.

3. How to Enter

During the Sweepstakes Period:

  • Scan the QR Code on printed materials OR visit https://beyondthehunt.com/pages/veteranhunt.

  • Complete and submit the official entry form, including:

    • Full name

    • Email address

    • Phone number

    • Indication of whether you are nominating yourself or another Veteran

    • Answers to open-ended questions

    • Agreement to the Official Rules and Sponsor’s Privacy Policy

If you nominate a Veteran other than yourself, you must ensure that they meet eligibility requirements and that you have their permission to provide their information.

Limit: One (1) entry per person for the Sweepstakes Period. Multiple, false, automated, or fraudulent entries may result in disqualification.

Entries that are incomplete, corrupted, damaged, forged, or otherwise non-compliant may also be disqualified.

4. Sweepstakes Drawing

On or about October 6, 2025, the Administrator will conduct a random drawing to select one (1) potential winner from among all eligible entries.

  • If the entry form indicates self-entry, the entrant is the potential winner.

  • If the entry form indicates a Veteran nomination, the nominee is the potential winner.

5. Odds

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

6. Winner Notification / Prize Claiming

If an entry was submitted on behalf of a nominee, Sponsor will contact the entrant to obtain the Veteran’s contact details.

The potential winner will be notified by email (or other contact method provided). Notification is deemed to occur immediately upon sending.

Potential winners must respond and submit required documentation within two (2) days of notification. Required documents include:

  • Declaration of Eligibility / Release of Liability / Prize Acceptance Agreement

  • Proof of military service / Veteran status

Failure to comply within the timeline may result in forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner.

The prize must be confirmed by October 25, 2025.

7. Prize and Restrictions

One (1) Prize: A 4-day / 3-night trip to Tekamah, Nebraska to participate in a guided hunt at the Pheasant Bonanza Hunt Club with Rick & Julie.

Prize Includes:

  • Round-trip coach class air transportation for the winner

  • Three (3) nights hotel accommodation (single occupancy)

  • Two (2) day guided hunt (Nov 4–5, 2025)

  • Meals in Tekamah, NE

  • Ground transportation between airport and hunt club

Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $5,000.

Travel must occur November 3–6, 2025. Certain restrictions apply regarding travel, documentation, and expenses not included in the prize package.

The prize is non-transferable and awarded “AS IS” without warranty. Taxes and other costs are the sole responsibility of the winner.

8. General

Winner grants Sponsor and its designees the right to use their name, likeness, voice, and biographical details for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except as required by law.

Sponsor is not responsible for disruptions due to Force Majeure events. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes if necessary.

9. Conduct

Sponsor may disqualify entrants suspected of tampering, acting disruptively, or otherwise violating the Official Rules. Attempts to undermine the Sweepstakes may result in prosecution.

10. Waivers and Disclaimers

Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for:

  • Lost, late, or misdirected entries or communications

  • Technical failures or interruptions

  • Unauthorized access or tampering

  • Errors in Sweepstakes materials or administration

If the Sweepstakes cannot run as planned due to tampering, technical issues, or other causes, Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify it.

11. Releases

By participating, entrants release the Sweepstakes Parties from liability related to participation, prize use, publicity, and administration errors.

12. Governing Law & Limitation of Liability

The Sweepstakes is governed by Nebraska law. Entrants waive rights to class actions, punitive damages, and equitable relief.

13. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration through JAMS or, if unavailable, another mutually agreed provider. Venue will be in Nebraska.

14. Entry Information & Communications

By entering, participants consent to the Sponsor’s use of entry information for Sweepstakes administration.

Sponsor’s Privacy Policy applies.

15. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Official Rules is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding.

16. Winner List

To request the winner’s name, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope by December 4, 2025 to:
